Funeral services for Coleen Moss Ellis Byrum, 92, of Aiken, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, AIKEN. Officiating will be Rev. Suzanne Byrum Walker. Pallbearers will be Brent Jackson, Jason Jackson, Matt Jackson, Daniel Byrum, Caleb Haupfear and Daniel Braswell. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Home, 213 Laurens Street, Aiken SC, 29801. Mrs. Byrum, widow of Eugene Herman Byrum, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. Born in Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late William & Betty Fant Moss. Mrs. Byrum was a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church. She loved playing BINGO, enjoyed her family and cooking for them every Saturday. She was also a cheerleader for the Wii Bowling Team at Trinity on Laurens. Mrs. Byrum was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors are her sons, Kenneth Byrum Carolyn of Gloverville and Jerry Ellis Debra of N. Augusta; a daughter, Donna Jackson Benny of Gloverville; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
