Graveside services for Mr. Robert Ernest Puckett will be Sunday, June 25, 2006 at 2pm at Southlawn Cemetery with Rev. David Holdman officiating. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be directed to Recovery Club, 123 Linden Street, Aiken, SC 29801 Mr. Puckett, 67, of New Ellenton, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Puckett was born in Etowah County, Alabama to the late Elgin and Mary Puckett. He was a retired ironworker from Bechtel and a member of the VFW. Mr. Puckett was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis, and son, Donald Puckett. He is survived by his sons, Corley Puckett, Anthony Puckett; daughter, Annette Bailey; step daughters, Donna Leeth, Melissa Eppig, Gail Chaffin, Suzanne Ramsey; step son Wayne Jennings; sisters, Marlyn Johnson, Betty Foster; brother, Col. James Puckett, numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren.
