I met Thursa on a trip to California with the Supreme Columbiettes to open two new Auxiliaries. She was so nice and kind and I never forgot her. Rest in Peace Thursa!

Reading the tributes for Thursa on these pages reminds me of the special person that she was. Going back to Sacred Heart Grade and High School, my recollections are the same. Thursa, Art and Family are in my thoughts and prayers today.

I'm so sorry to hear of Thursa's passing. I remember her from Columbiettes and how she was always so kind and helpful with our ceremonies. We counted on her loving help and support. She will be greatly missed.

I was introduced to Thursa sometime in 1970. I knew right away that she was a kind, gentle, and sweet person. I was delighted to be told by Art that he would be marrying her. I was flattered by both to serve as their "best man". While our paths did not cross often, Art and Thursa always remained close in my heart. So very fond of her, I was. It is difficult to accept that she is no longer with us. My most sincere condolences are offered to her entire family.
I am so saddened by the passing of Thursa. What a wonderful woman she was, and I will miss her smile and laughter. My condolences to her family.
