Sam, Lynda, and family: I have such fond memories of "Mr. McMichael". Later, I could call him Mac. Growing up close to you and having horses is the common thread that binds. I remember developing a friendship with Sam (Marsha) in first grade, sleeping over at your house, and developing a common love for the outdoors, particularly with horses. I will remember Mac's kindness when I was a child and how he loved all his girls. Then many years later when I needed a place to stable a couple of horses for me and a friend, I contacted him and he graciously shared his barn. We had such fun chatting about the old days! He was such an entertaining character, full of life and love for people and animals. I know he will be missed by many. I will be thinking of you in the days ahead.
