Funeral services for Mr. Julian Billy Woodward will be held Sunday, August 25, 2002 at 2 PM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, Windsor, SC, with Pastor Toby Rowell and Pastor Bert Baynham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lewis Woodward, Ricky Woodward, Jerry Bryant, Johnny Woodward, Frank Carr, and Bennie Woodward, Jr. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 24, 2002 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Woodward, 70, of Aiken, SC, husband of Ollie Mae Courtney Woodward, died Thursday, night August 22, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC, he was a son of the late Curtis Clinton Woodward and the late Minnie Wood Keenan. At the time of his death, Mr. Woodward was working in the produce department of Bi-Lo on the southside of Aiken, SC. Mr. Woodward was a member of Levels Baptist Church and attended Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Windsor, SC. He enjoyed fishing with his son and fishing partner, Dennis. In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Dennis Woodward, Couchton, SC; daughters, Nancy W. Nelson, North Augusta, SC and Judith W. Hayes, Aiken, SC; brothers, James Woodward, Windsor, SC, Bennie Woodward, Beech Island, SC, and Harold Woodward, Windsor, SC; half-brother, Gene Ray Keenan, Beech Island, SC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
