Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Hallman Cato will be held Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 2 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC with Reverend Henry Summerall officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Bryan Hallman, Edwin Hallman, Mark Summerall, Dain Ivey, Bill Bentley, & Keith Cato. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 18, 2005 from 12 PM until service time at the funeral home. Friends are also invited to the residence of MiMi Hallman, 914 Wildwood Rd., Aiken, SC, immediately following the service. Mrs. Cato, 75, of Aiken, SC, died Friday, morning, December 16, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Bryan and Harriet Geneva Harmon Hallman. She was an Episcopalian and was a homemaker. Mrs. Cato enjoyed cooking, sewing, working with the Aiken Community Playhouse and especially loved taking RV trips with her late husband, Books Lamar ?Cooter? Cato, who died September 29, 1996. She is survived by a son, Keith Lamar Cato, Gloria Ridgeland, SC; daughter, Evelyn Kim Cato, Aiken, SC; brother, Ed Hallman, Aiken, SC; and grandchildren, Lauren Michelle Cato and Dain Wolf Ivey. Memorials may be made to Helping Hands, 100 John Elliott Ln, Aiken, SC 29801.
