AIKEN, SC- BROADUS WAYNE PRESCOTT, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Born January 20, 1942 in Augusta, GA, he was a son of the late Broadus Davis Prescott and Reba Lovett Prescott. Mr. Prescott was a life-long area resident and a retired iron worker. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Curtis Baptist Church in Augusta. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Budnaitis Prescott; two daughters, Paige Prescott, Buford, GA and Laura Davis (Terry) , Efland, NC; one son, Broadus Wayne Prescott, Jr (Valerie), Buford, GA; seven grandchildren, Davis Prescott, Haley Behun, Carli Prescott, William Dicks, Dana Davis, Alex Davis, Heather Younger; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Janie Rosser, Augusta, GA; and a brother, Farrow Prescott, Jackson, MI. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Chime Bell Baptist Church. The Reverend Gary Fleetwood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
