I have many wonderful fond memories of Helen. I will truly miss her.
When we moved to Arizona from Ohio, she took us in and made me feel like family right away. I will never forget that.
Helen aways was able to make me laugh with her way of looking at things and her commments.Boy did she have some good ones!!
Years ago, when I worked for the school district and worked on the bus, everyday we would drive by Helen and Carl's house. The students on the bus would all get excited and call out Helen and Carl's names and wave at them. Helen and Carl would always wave back and smile. That always made the AM and PM bus ride special.
Helen always made me laugh when she wore purple over to Floyd and Anita's house. We all knew that Floyd didn't like purple.
The shopping trips with Helen and Anita were always fun and memorable. They liked to order burnt toast for lunch. Helen would get mad and send it back if the toast wasn't burnt enough.
Whenever Bob and I tell stories of Helen we always laugh. I think that is a great way to be remembered.
Love always,
Cecilia
She always told me that my dad was her favorite. She told some great stories. Helen has always been in and out of my life throughout the years since my childhood. I always looked forward to being with her. She always made us laugh and feel good about family. Sorry for her lose. She was a grand lady. She was my favorite cousin too.
