A funeral mass for Robert Frank Boucek will be celebrated Thursday January 24, 2008 at 11: am at Saint Mary Help of Christian's Catholic Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the Girl Scout Troop 264 at 151 Dannon Ct. Aiken SC 29805 for the purpose of buying Girl Scout cookies for families who are receiving Hospice care. Mr. Boucek, 82, of Aiken died Monday Friday 18, 2007 at his residence. Robert Frank Boucek was born in Chicago Illinois. A son of the late Frank Thomas and Mary Kotraba Boucek. He graduated from High school in Chicago Illinois. He willingly served his country in the United States Merchant Marines, the United States Coast Guard and the United States Navy during WWII and then served in the United States Army during Korea .He worked for over ten years as the Host at the Rye Patch, in Aiken, assisting numerous brides in having the wedding of their dreams. In addition to his parents Mr. Boucek was predeceased by two sisters; Blanche England, and Evelyn Pokatos and two brothers; Emil Boucek and Frank Boucek. Mr. Boucek is survived by his wife of forty years; H. Rose Boucek, four children; Robert Patrick, William, Bonnie, and an adopted daughter, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was well loved and will be missed by those who knew him.
