Funeral services for Mr. James Patrick Roach will be held Monday, December 13, 2004 at 4 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Brad Willis officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 PM-4 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Roach, 51, of Aiken, SC, died Thursday, morning, December 9, 2004 at his home. Born in Waltham, MA, he had been a resident of Lynn, MA, where he was a Deputy with the Middlesex County Sheriffs Department and was the owner of High Incident Rescue Team. He came to Aiken, SC in December of 2003 where he joined the Savannah River Gun Club. He is survived by his wife Jane Couch Kehoa Roach, Aiken, SC; son, James Adam Roach, Mossup, CT; daughters, Tabitha Kehoa, Hamilton, MA and Meghan Kehoa, Aiken, SC; mother-in-law, Gladys Couch, Aiken, SC; brother-in-laws, Henry Couch Eunice and Walter Couch, sister-in-laws, Etrulia Askew and Barbara Olsen, and a granddaughter, Cassidy Cromwell. The family has asked that memorials in memory of James be made to the National Kidney Association, 500 Taylor Street Suite 101, Columbia, SC 29201.
