Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Williams will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 2pm at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place at 4pm at Southlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Williams, 79, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Bradford Moseley and Dorothy Moseley, she was a life long resident of Aiken. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Michael Williams and Lawrence Williams and three siblings, Donald Moseley, Harold Moseley and Helen Fogg. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Williams, with whom she just celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary; a daughter, Linda Steve Swanson, Aiken; a son, Gary Terri Williams, Grand Rapids, MI, two sisters, Gloria Ergle, Aiken and Carolyn Charles Posey, Aiken and seven grandchildren, Paul Swanson, Gina Swanson, Kevin Swanson, Heather Marquardt, Brad Williams, David Williams and Matthew Williams. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
