A memorial service for Mrs. Sara Mae Kehl will be held Wednesday August 14, 2002 at 11:00am at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, with Rev. John Huff officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service at the residence of James and Bonnie Snavely. Mrs.Kehl, 81, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Charles R. Kehl, died Monday, morning, August 12, 2002 at Carriage Hills Nursing Center, Aiken. Born in Hemlock, OH, and a graduate of Hemlock High School, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Hodgson and the late Laura Tharp Hodgson. Prior to relocating to Aiken in 1974, she had been a resident of Bellville, OH, where she was a member of Bellville Church of Christ. She retired after fifteen years of service from Thermo-Disc. Memorials in her memory may be made to the Hemlock Community Church, Main St. Hemlock, OH 43730 Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Snavely and her husband, James, Aiken, SC; sons, Roy Kehl and his wife Dianne, Bellville, OH and Rodney Kehl, Pensacola, FL; sister, Lois Cassidy, Columbus, OH; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. One grandchild preceded her in death.
