Such sad news to read about sweet Billy. Seems like I have known him my entire life, I will always remember his welcoming smile, warm personality and reminders how much he loved my family.... we loved the Howard's too.

I have known Billy since I was five years old. The neighborhood would play football and baseball in the Howard’s backyard and race our bikes around the front driveway. We all had a good time. I want to give my condolences to his family especially his sons and his sister Linda.

Billy and I were in high school together. We occasionally ran into one another after our high school days. I always enjoyed seeing Billy and his dad in Belk’s. I was delighted when Billy took over the North Augusta Belk’s. My sympathy goes out to his two sons and other family members. He was special!
