JoAnn and Family,
Please know that Shirley and I share in your sorry. Lowell was always a perfect gentleman. I will never forget the many dinners and conversations Shirley and I shared with the Tripp's at Woodside Country Club. The world has lost another good one. May Lowell rest in peace.

It has been a pleasure knowing Lowell . We have missed him over the years at Chris and Lisa’s and Sarah’s when they started to decline and unable to visit. It has been too long since the family has been together! It was great fun watching Sarah open her gifts on Christmas morning and going to church. And the meals Joann helped prepare were out of this world! Very kind man ! He was always happy! Always ! Lowell you will be missed !

My grandpa was one of my biggest inspirations and main motivators in life. We were incredibly close and with that he taught me many life lessons along the way, all while giving me more love than I could ever ask for.
He was my bestfriend. I love you always.

Deepest condolences to JoAnn and family. I had the great pleasure of living across the 18th fairway of the Jones course from Lowell and JoAnn for many years. Super neighbors. In addition, I enjoyed having Lowell as a customer when I worked at the SRS with Bechtel when Lowell was with the DOE SROO department my group interacted with on virtually a daily basis.
Lowell was a member of the golfing group I played with for a number of years. Not only was he a very pleasant guy to play golf with but he was one of only two people in the group that I could talk "nuclear stuff" with and tell stories about our nuclear experiences, often with puzzled stares from our companions.
Lowell grew up in Missouri and I grew up just north in Iowa, so we were fellow Midwesterners. Lots of stories there. also.
You are missed, my friend.

Deepest sympathy JoAnn and family. I first met Lowell during the early days of the 1979 Three Mile Island accident recovery effort. He was Chief of the Region Three of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. I represented Westinghouse and later accepted a position with TMI Owner, General Public Utilities. We had many Owner/Regulatory interactions. I was absolutely delighted to find Lowell and JoAnn living in Woodside when Doris and I moved there in 1989. We shared stories for years. Rest in peace my friend. Big hug Joann.
