Obituary of Kenneth Lawton Adams

Kenneth Lawton Adams, age 58, of Monetta, SC, passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at his residence following an illness. 

He was born on Tuesday, November 30th, 1965, in Anderson, South Carolina, a son of the late Kenneth Lawton & L. Beth Adams.  Kenneth was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Kenneth worked as a dedicated truck driver during his career.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Waters Adams; his four sons, Brandon, Brent, Brad, and Michael; his daughter, Kristen (Joseph Mills); two sisters, Debbie Friese and Susan Kelley; and seven grandchildren, Taylor, Casey, Shawn, Jayce, Carter, Bentley, and Kinsley. 

In addition to this parents, Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his brother, Danny, and brother-in-law, David Kelley.

Visitation will be held at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234 on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. 

Funeral services will be held at 6:30pm Tuesday evening at the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown chapel with Dr. Chris Masters officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, SC 29801 to help offset the cost of the funeral expenses.
