Obituary of Robert Franklin Petrulovich

Robert Franklin Petrulovich, 83, widower of the late Sarah Elaine Petrulovich, passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at his residence following a brave struggle with cancer.  


Mr. Petrulovich was born on Monday, January 20th, 1941, in Weirton (Hollidays Cove), West Virginia a son of the late Adam & Mary Lukovicky Petrulovich. He was a retired Vice-President and Manager at The Bank of Weirton/WesBanco. Robert was a proud United States Navy Submariner Veteran. In West Virgina, he was amember of The Loyal Order of Moose Fraternity. He was an avid golfer for his entire life. He loved not only to play, but to also follow and watch his grandsons play college golf at their respective schools. After moving to Aiken, SC, he worked at Aiken Golf Club as a Greens Keeper and at the Carolina Golf Range.  He will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and love for his family.


Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nanci Lee and Brian Carter of Aiken; 2 grandsons, Jake Edison Carter and Chad Thomas (Leigh Ann) Carter; and 1 great-granddaughter, Sullivan Hayes Carter. 
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Petrulovich was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Helen Petrulovich and Priscilla Thomas; and a brother, Adam Adams.


Memorials services will be held on August 24, 2024 at 11:00am at St James Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Fred Klinker. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church, 200 Laurel Drive, Graniteville, SC, 29829.
