David, From the first time I saw you with your green golf shirt, pressed khaki slacks, and silver gray hair, I knew you would never get rid of me! I said, “that is the one!” What a wonderful journey of great love and friendship we had and will always share. You pulled me in when I might have gone a little overboard, but you always had grace with me. David, you encouraged me, loved me, and guided to help me grow. You were the best and cherished husband (of course you knew that because I told you all the time). My heart is broken over losing my sweet, good looking sidekick. Life is already not the same because I am lost without you. You are cherished, loved and will always be loved. You were spoiled, but deserved every bit! You were a great example and testament to our family! There are so many wonderful things I want to say about you. It was an honored to be your wife. You will always be my Silver Fox. I love you so dearly and was blessed to have you as my best friend and soul mate.

My brothers and I loved our Dad. He was the Dad you respected in every way. When we were young dad worked hard to take care of us boys and he was always there when we needed him the most. When dad walked in a room, you respected him. He carried himself as a fine gentleman that you wanted to be like. He was a fair, loving father that would praise us when we did good and corrected us when we were wrong. Dad was right about everything. Before he spoke, Dad already knew the answer. Me and my brothers grew up in the best of times. Times where Clint Eastwood, Burt Reynolds and Dale Earnhardt were the stars people wanted to be like. To me and my brothers, they had nothing on Dad. Dad had that look that commanded respect and he could back it up. I speak for me and my brothers when I say we are ultimately heart broken that he's not here. I'll miss calling him during the race on Sundays to ask him if he saw that wreck, having him come over to watch the latest boxing match, and the special occasions we always got together to celebrate. It's going to be hard on all of our family and friends, but I know in my heart Dad is in Heaven with my younger brother Little David and we will see him again. We love you Dad! Love, Rick, David, and Cliff

David had a quiet strength. We always saw David and Joyce as such a distinct couple with a strong bond between them. Always the gentleman, he was in much pain and discomfort but never complained. He had a big heart and will be missed.

David Brady married my Aunt Joyce in 1999 and embodied kindness in every way. Though quiet, his love for family and friends ran deep. I was in the hospital a few years ago and he surprised me with a frosty from Wendy's—a small gesture that meant the world. He cherished simple moments, especially conversations with loved ones, and had a soft spot for stray cats, showing care for all living beings. He loved Jesus and was a faithful servant, and as a fellow Christian, I find comfort knowing we'll see each other again one day.
If you're reading this and seeking meaning and purpose in your life, PLEASE consider reaching out or finding a Bible-based church. David would surely encourage you too—the eternal life through Jesus is priceless. I believe David is now with his youngest son and rejoicing at the feet of our Lord.

I had the honor of meeting David at several family occasions. His quiet strength and soft-spoken kindness are the hallmark gifts he brought to every conversation. David glowed with adoration and support for his wife, Joyce, and family. This reflects his extraordinary capacity to love and serve . In David, we see a glimpse of God’s loving nature, an unforgettable life spent devoted to others as husband, father, family member and friend.

To my beautiful cousin, Joyce and the family, we are so deeply sorry for the loss of David. What a wonderful man, so gentle to know and easy to be around. Our prayers are lifted to our Father in Heaven to walk with you each day, provide a strength that goes beyond our understanding. Death is such a sting to us here on earth with shattering grief for us, but for the believer, it is a joy and freshness to Leave this world and live in our eternal home. Praise God that David knows his Father.
We love you, dearly and you are in our hearts!
A prayer for you:
"Jesus, You said, 'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted,' (Matthew 5:4). For Joyce and David’s family are mourning. Send them your comfort now. Wrap Your arms around them and hold them tight. Send angels of mercy to them. Shower Your comfort on them through those around them. Let Joyce and her family know they
Are loved Amen".
