Obituary of David Dean Scottie

David Dean Scottie was born January 23, 1957 and Passed June 17, 2024, at 11:15 am.

He served in the US Army with 22-years of service.

Due to years of service at contaminated military sites, his retirement years began a journey of health decline, but throughout his suffering, he was always proud of the years he served HIS Beloved Country.

He stood for the Flag, put his hat on his heart, and bowed his head for those who  had fallen before him

Of his company's band of brothers who totaled 14, He was the last man standing for them all.

He now completed his duty on earth and stands side by side with those who stood by him during his proud years of service.

His best friend for over forty years became his bride and beloved wife finally as they committed to each other 2 years ago. 

Loved ones who gather mourn and rejoice as they will forever be blanketed by sweet memories:  Lorraine  Rega Scottie (wife); Ellen Scottie and  Robin Scottie (sisters); Michelle Scottie and Steve Gunning (daughter and son-in-law); Michael Scottie (son); Aiden, Tanner, Bryce, and Sara Gunning (grandchildren). Pre-deceased by his parents, Creston Paulins and Phyllis Varner. 

David was crucified as was Jesus.  He now holds the hand of Our Heavenly  Father.
