Obituary of Rosemary Deborah Plante

Rosemary Deborah Plante, age 78, of Aiken, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, at her residence. 

Mrs. Plante was born in New York City, New York on October 22nd, 1945, a daughter of the late Francis & Mary Rembish Graziano. Mrs. Plante was a parishioner of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken. Rosemary worked as a Legal Office Manager. She was a beloved member of the Cedar Creek Community and was member of the Cedar Creek Ladies Club. She ran both the Medical Network and Nana's Network of Cedar Creek, showing her dedication to her community and her love for the people within her community. Rosemary was an avid gardener as well as a talented sewer. Rosemary will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Joseph Plante, of Aiken, SC, her children Gregory Thomas (Leslie) Plante of Mountain Lakes, NJ, and Michele Plante of Champagne, IL, her brother Joseph (Velma) Graziano of Camden Wyoming,  Delaware. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Graziano.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 125 Park Ave SE, Aiken, SC 29801 on Friday, June 7th, 2024, at 11:00 am with the Very Rev. Richard Wilson as celebrant. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234. A prayer service will be held at 6:15pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. 

Final Rites and Commendation will take place at the Columbarium of St. Mary Help of Christians Church, 138 Fairfield St. SE, Aiken, SC 29801.
