Obituary of Peggy Renee Cook Eaves

AIKEN, SC - Peggy Renee Cook Eaves, age 64, passed away May 6, 2024.

Peggy was born April 26, 1960, and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, having been raised in New Ellenton. She was a 1978 graduate of Aiken High School. She worked at SRS until becoming a stay-at-home mother, and then along with her husband, worked at Eaves Oil Co. Peggy retired from the Aiken County School System. She enjoyed reading books, chatting with her friends, and most of all she loved her family, especially her boys and precious grandchildren.

Peggy was pre-deceased by her husband Frampton Lawton Eaves III, parents Jesse and Ruth Cook, and son Jesse Eaves.

Peggy is survived by one son Lawton (Brooke) Eaves, grandson Carter Eaves, and granddaughter Sarah Gentry.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234).
