Obituary of Steven Howard Delf

Steven Howard Delf, age 69, of Aiken, SC, passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024. 

Mr. Delf was born on July 4th, 1954 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Charles Sterling Delf and Jean Marie Delf.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Merida Louise Duckworth Delf, his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Howard & Lisa Marie Delf of Aiken, SC and his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Lynn & Scott Wiitanen of Pinckney, MI. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Marcia Delf of Richland, MI, as well as his three grandchildren, Taylor Skover, Bradley Delf, and Brenden Delf.

Steven was a successful Paint, Wallpaper and Contracting Business Owner following  in the footsteps of his father and worked diligently for many years in this business. From 2004 to 2022, he served as the Maintenance Director at Shannondale Nursing Home & Retirement Community in Knoxville, TN. He was a fan of University of Michigan football and while operating his painting business had the opportunity to paint the football stadium.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Arbor Crest Memorial Park, 2521 Glazier Way, Ann Harbor, MI, 48105 on June 4, 2024 at a time to be announced. 

In his memory, donations can be made to Friends of the Animal Shelter at 333 Wire Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
