What a kind, talented man George was! So one day in the mid-'60s while practicing the organ at St, Agnes Church, he broke into a little boogie-woogie... May his family & friends cherish their memories.
George and I were grade school buddies that lasted well into our mid-life. We both attended St. Agnes Catholic grade school in Louisville. We were altar boys together, our mothers were friends, our fathers were co-den "mothers" for us in cub scouts and we spent time investigating becoming priests. George pursued it further than I. We joined forces again in college at Bellarmine and participated in an off-campus club and the pep club. George was a sincere friend who I could always count on for comfort, advice and just plain friendship. I will miss him. My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

Dear Karen and family,
My Mom and I were saddened to hear of George’s passing. He was a wonderfully faithful and dedicated music director at St. Leonard’s. I treasure all the fond memories of working with him throughout the years. May he rest in the Merciful and Loving arms of Our Lord Jesus and may God bless you with His comfort, healing and peace.
With love and prayers in Christ

Dear Karen and all of George's beloved family,
We are so sorry to see of George's passing. Karen, we are so glad you and George found each other when you did, although as George always said it was "not long enough". I'm sure you are certainly feeling that way now. Our thoughts and prayers and fond memories are with you.
With Love & Sympathy,
