A memorial service for Mrs. Edna Marie Grossheider Flanigan will be held Friday morning, March 26, 2004, at 11 o?clock in the chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery, I-70/Lucas-Hunt Rd, St. Louis, MO, with Pastor David Hirsch of Grace Lutheran Chapel officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery. The family will greet friends at the chapel prior to the service. Mrs. Flanigan, 83, of Aiken, SC, and formerly of St. Louis, MO, widow of Patrick Leonard Flanigan, died Wednesday evening, March 3, 2004, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, Aiken, SC. Born in Gordonville, MO, a daughter of the late Alvin John and Elsie Amolie Marie Graden Grossheider, she had been a resident of St. Louis, MO, for many years where she was a hairdresser, prior to coming to Aiken, SC, in June 2001. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Chapel, Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO. Upon her move to South Carolina, Mrs. Flanigan became a member of Lutheran Church by the Lake, McCormick, SC. Mrs. Flanigan is survived by six sisters. Lorene Grossheider, Aiken, SC; Ruth Cropp, Nevada, MO; Roberta Robinson, Audrey McHenry, and Eleanor Haman, all of Cape Girardeau, MO; and Barbara Venz, McCormick, SC, survive. In addition to her parents and husband, a sister, Frances McNeely, preceded her in death.
