Obituary of Eric Hewitt Langston

Eric Hewitt Langston, 49, of Aiken, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. 

He was born in Augusta, GA on Saturday, December 28th, 1974, to the late Henry Abbott Langston Jr. and Mary Ann Hewitt Langston.

Eric spent 18 years working in general banking and was a beloved member of the community. He was passionate about animals and hunting and dedicated much of his time to these interests.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann Hewitt Langston, his brother and sister-in-law Rion and Emory Langston of Aiken, SC, 2 half-sisters, Lisa (Stephen) Nelson of Charleston & Reba L. Langston of Charleston, 1 half-brother, Henry Abbott (Pat) Langston, III of Florida; and his nephew, Ryan Abbott Langston of Aiken.

Visitation will be held at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Aiken, SC on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aiken County Animal Shelter, 333 Wire Road in Aiken, SC 29801.
