Obituary of Lawrence L. Marasciulo
Lawrence L. Marasciulo, beloved husband, father, and business owner, passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024, in Aiken, SC at the age of 89.
He was born on Wednesday, June 20th, 1934, in Long Island City, NY to the late Sante and Della Rotando Marasciulo. Mr. Marasciulo was the retired owner of Quebec Farms Limited. He was a true entrepreneur having owned and started multiple businesses through his lifetime. He had a passion for antique cars, architecture and traveling. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Flushing, NY and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Lawrence is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Alice Elizabeth Marasciulo. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Ann (Omar Achemoui) Marasciulo of Sebring, FL, a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond R. (Francisca) Marasciulo of Hempstead, NY; and grandchildren, Chelsea Marasciulo (Michael McPartland), Nicholas Marasciulo, Maxine Marasciulo & Ashton Marasciulo.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 7, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 203 Park Ave SE, Aiken, SC 29801 with Father Orlando Serrano Ardila as celebrant.
Final rites and commendations will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 1255 University Lane, Aiken, SC 29801.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
