I’d think of Kathy often through the years as she helped me through some tough times. She was always professional, kind, and warm. I looked her up and found she had passed too soon. My condolences to the family.

Kathleen was one of the smartest people I had ever met. To say she was kind and compassionate for people is an understatement. Her understanding and knowledge of human emotion and meeting that with such empathy is and was an absolute life saver. You will be so very very missed Kathleen. But I know you are finally at peace.

Kathy was a true friend who gave her all no matter what she did. She was a very
good Pickleball player, card player and she excelled at Bunco with her unique
way she rolled those dice. I will always remember her happy face and smile even when she wasn’t feeling her best.
I think of her every time we play cards,
Kathy will be missed by all.

Mike, and family, I am deeply saddened to read of Kathy’s passing. So many memories are racing through my mind, from Kathy babysitting Todd and I when we lived on Summer Street (unfortunately we lost Todd in July of 2022 as the result of a car accident), and Kathy bringing over potato chips and cream cheese, to going over to Art & Mildred’s and taking home a bag of cosmetics, to having the honor of being you and Kathy’s junior bridesmaid in your wedding (I think of you both every May 10th), to visiting you both in Grand Rapids and driving home in a blinding snow storm with my mother, to name a few. Kathy was someone that I always looked up to as a big sister, she was an amazing role model! I admired the relationship that the two of you had. I will cherish the memories. Raising you and the family up in prayer. Tammie (Ray) Faber

Mike and Andrea, my heart hurts for you both with a depth of understanding and love that I hope helps you feel not so alone. This photo of Kathleen was taken in my kitchen not too long before you both relocated south and it is a bittersweet memory for me because I knew I would never again be able to see my dear friend in person because of my disabilities making travel impossible, but I was also excited for her to be able to begin her much deserved retirement of playing golf with her "Honey" (you, Mike) whenever she wanted with no season of cold or snow to interfere. I share your shock and devastation that Kathleen (Kathy) is gone from us here, but her presence is still here with us and I can feel her comfort. I know her presence is there with you both as well and wish for you that in the coming days, weeks and months you will be able to be lifted from your pain as she continues to touch your lives (as she will continue to do with all of the hundreds of persons she has touched when she was here with us.) Please keep my contact information in your phone, Mike, so that you can feel free to reach out at any time that you might like to hear some of the fun and silly stories that happened here during visits these past 17 years (as you know, Kathleen can get quite silly.) I would welcome that very much. Through Kathleen I have grown a deep fondness for you, Andrea and "Sushi dog" (as Kathleen called Andrea's sweet pup.) Love you both BUNCHES! Catherine

Mike and Andrea,
Although no words of sympathy can ease the loss you bear, still may you find some comfort knowing others truly care and may all your memories of Kathy always bring a smile to your face and a hug around your heart.

Despite her constant pain, Kathy was always cheerful and positive. She was kind to all and her counseling skills was apparent when having heart-to-heart conversations.
I was so impressedwith the depth of research Kathy did preparing for her heart surgery. No detail was missed, and she loved and completely trusted her surgeon.
I will miss her optimism and her gentle smile.
