Obituary of ToniAnn C Buschow

ToniAnn Cavalcante Buschow, 69, widow of the late Kenneth Buschow passed away at her home on January 1, 2024, following an illness.

Toniann was born on November 10, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late Vito Andrew and Isabella Esposito Cavalcante. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Help of Christian’s Church. ToniAnn retired as a cook with the Waffle House.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.

ToniAnn is survived by her son, Adam C. Piazza of North Augusta; a sister, Joanna Cavalcante of Melbourne, FL; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Andrew Cavalcante and a sister, Laura C. Jarvi.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2023, at 11:00am in the Historic St. Mary Help of Christian’s Church, Park Ave, SC 29801 with the Very Rev. Richard Wilson as celebrant.

A private family committal service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801. A rosary service will be held at 7:00pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel.
