Obituary of Raymond Earl Chase

AUGUSTA, GA  – Raymond Earl Chase, age 88, entered into rest at home on December 27, 2023.

Mr. Chase was born February 3, 1935, to Roy W. Chase & Mary J. Armstrong in Providence, RI. He proudly served in the US Army and Air Force. He made the Couchton Area of Aiken, SC his home since 1960. He will be remembered by his family for his beautiful smile and kind nature. He was a very laid back and special person who enjoyed golf and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Yvonne Clark Chase.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Lane Chase; two sons, Mark Coleman Chase and Michael Clark Chase (Rebecca); nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Chase (Linda); and a sister, Barbara King.

Graveside Services for Mr. Chase will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
