Obituary of Rose Marie Coldiron

Rose Marie Coldiron, 96, widow of the late Robert Edward Coldiron passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Center. 

Born in Corry, PA on August 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Kathryn Martowitz Elchynski. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken. She loved to play bridge but her most favorite times were those when she was spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Duane & Marjorie Coldiron of Aiken, daughter, Reni Coldiron of Aiken; a brother and sister-in-law, Ted & Mary Lou Elchynski of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Caroline Oaks of  Carlsbad, CA and 4 grandchildren, Bonnie Coldiron, Becky Coldiron, Derek Kenstad & Anders Kenstad; and 1 great-grandson, Jacob.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Coldiron was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Rohner and 2 brothers, Tom Elchynski & Charles Elchynski.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2023, at 11:00am at the Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave SE, Aiken, SC 29801 with The Very Rev. Father Richard Wilson as celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Good Shepherd Cemetery & Mausoleum, 43124 Seventieth Street West, Lancaster, California.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Help Of Christians Catholic Church, 203 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
