Obituary of Clark Ross Brewer
Clark Ross Brewer, 78, beloved husband of Barbara Alvarez Brewer, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Friday, December 22, 2023, following an extended illness.
Clark was born on December 26, 1944, in New Kensington, PA, a son of the late Scott J. & Mary Louise Clark Brewer. Clark was a graduate of Donora High School Class of 1962 in Donora, PA and will be remembered fondly by his former classmates. Clark retired from Raytheon Engineers as a Construction Superintendent. During his lifetime, Clark lived and worked in over 13 states. He was a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union 354 in Youngwood, PA, a Syria Shriner, A Mason and member of the Tri-County Lodge #252 in Donora, PA. He was also a member of the Aiken Horsepower Club. He loved golf and was passionate about any type of car. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years are two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott & Kelly Brewer of Pataskala, Ohio and Michael & Carrissa Brewer of Parker, Colorado; 6 grandchildren, Killian Brewer, Grant Brewer, Madison Brewer, Morgan Brewer, Taylor Brewer & Jackson Brewer; his third child, his puppy Frankie; nieces and nephews, Brad Deavers, Mishelle Deavers, Mark Alvarez, Jennifer Alvarez Donovan and Whitney Brewer Kareken.
In addition to his parents, Clark was pre-deceased in death by his sister Jean Carroll Deavers; his brother Lee Scott Brewer and a nephew, Zach Brewer.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3250 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY, 40601.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 4:00pm until 5:00pm at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.
The family will receive friends again on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the Chapel of Sunset Memorial Gardens.
