Douglas George Davison, 95, widower of Barbara A. (Allen) Davison, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Benton House in Aiken following an extended illness.

Doug was a native of the South Jersey shore in Avalon, N.J. and Key Colony Beach, Florida. Doug grew up in Springfield Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Clarence L. and Golda (Douglas) Davison. Doug worked at Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia, PA retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Freemasons and Elks. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran where he served as a medic. He loved boating and fishing. Doug was a member of the Lunch Bunch at the Cabana Club in Key Colony Beach. He enjoyed hot tropical breezes. Doug was a man of character.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Judy & Paul Eisenstat of Aiken and Sharon & Mike McCardle of Lincolnton University, PA; grandchildren, Laura & Timothy West, Dr. Matthew & Emma Eisenstat, Amada McCardle, Michael McCardle and Katy Kennedy; 2 great-grandsons, Aiden West & Asher West.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Davison was pre-deceased by his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn & Daniel Kennedy, a brother, Harry R. Davison and a sister, Mary E. Davison. In addition, he was pre-deceased in death by his companion after the death of his wife, Anne Chris Homer.

His celebration of life will be held in the Keys with close friends and family at a later date.
