Obituary of James David Telander, Sr.

James David Telander, Sr. 63, of Aiken passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, following an illness.

Bron on August 4, 1960, in Miami Florida, he was the son of the late Bruce Elwin Telander and Mary Dell Chaplin Telander of Aiken. Mr. Telander was a graduate of Lander University in Greenwood and retired as a chef with Bettys Around the Corner in Aiken. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Michelle & Charles Raymond Fritz of Concord, NC; a son, James David Telander, Jr. of Miami, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorene Dell & Richard Kordal of New York; and his former wife, Anne Telander of Miami, FL.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Dexter Lambert officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
