Miss Evelyn was a wonderful soul. I so enjoyed dinners for several years with she and her son Whitt and wife Nancy when they visited. Talents run deep in the Thomas family and Miss Evelyn was a huge part of that. A mother of five gets a formal bow from me. You can’t do that without much love and tenacity, both of which I saw with her sons. Rest in peace Miss Evelyn, you deserve it and we will all miss you.
