Obituary of Shirley Moody Reeves

Shirley Moody Reeves, 88, widow of the late Donald Neal Reeves, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, September 1, 2023, at the Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center of Aiken following an extended illness.

Mrs. Reeves was born on December 28, 1932, in Aiken, SC a daughter of the late Willie & Audrey Moody. She was retired from SRS as a payroll secretary.

Surviving her are a son and daughter-in-law, Mark A. & Tammy Reeves of Waynesville, NC; a daughter, Nanette Reeves of Grovetown, GA and two grandsons, Mark A. Reeves, Jr. and Richard Reeves.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 3:00pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel., 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234. Interment will take place following the service in Jackson Memorial Park, 1 N. Hakinson St, Jacksonville, SC 29831.

 The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
