Carol always had a smile and kind words for me, and everyone else, after Saturday 5:00 mass, often inquiring about my family. My late wife Susie loved playing tennis with her. After hearing one of Carol's stories, I tried to convince Susie to make a hot breakfast for me and pack my lunch every day before I went to work at SRS. It's amazing Carol did that for Harold for so long.

Hi Carol,
I just finished a rather long conversation with the "Big Guy" trying to set up a long series of activities with you, Harold, Judy, and me.
I was sort of hoping you would help me out as you're currently much closer to the "Big Guy" than I am.
Thank God for all the many trips we all went on and the get-togethers we had. I will always cherish those memories, including the time when you set the hotel on fire in Ireland with a hair dryer.
I think you agree that those times were important for a friendship that has existed for so many years. I am so fortunate to have had Harold as a friend since grade school, but it grew into something even better and far more important after we all got married.
I look forward to getting together again when we're all up there with you in the future and continuing a friendship that has lasted so long, forever.

Mrs. Carol or “Gramma Reeve” as she was known best to me growing up has always been a source of joy to visit with through my early years into my adulthood. I felt like an extra grandchild when I was able to spend time at her home. I remember being taken to the Aiken trials, taking photos petting horses, and eating delicious breakfasts in her sunroom. I remember feeling so cared for being amongst the family activities and sleeping my best in the guest room’s twin bed upstairs. What I remember most is how caring Mr. Harold and Mrs. Carol were to one another. I did not get to experience two grandparents in one household most of childhood, so being included was extra special to me. Through the years, Mrs. Carol always remembered special things about me and would always cheerfully greet me and encourage me. I remember she even included me in her Catholic services at her parish when I would visit and when her granddaughter Kristin married, she called me an honorary catholic because I was able to handle the beautiful veil during the service without skipping a beat. I am beyond grateful to share these memories but most importantly to have known her big heart and smile. She was one of the most welcoming women I have ever known. God has certainly used Mrs. Carol in so many ways amongst her family and friends. She will be greatly missed on this side of Heaven.

I am saddened to hear of Carol's passing. I have known her and her husband Harold and her for children for many years. I taught some of the children at St. Angela Academy. Carol and Harold were supporters of the school during the years the children attended. I spoke to Carol and Harold weekly at Mass at St. Marys. We often spoke of the children and she was always sure to ask how I was doing. I was invited on a couple of occasions to the house for family events. Carol was always a delightful person to talk to. She very kind to me. I will keep Harold and the children in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If I can be of any help please don't hesitate to call me.
