Obituary of Terry Lynn Aromi

     Mrs. Terry Lynn Aromi, 77, wife of Edward S. Aromi, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2023 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. 

     Mrs. Aromi was born on October 27, 1945 in Evanston, Il, a daughter of the late Chester L. & Catherine Grace Towns. Mrs. Aromi was a retired elementary school teacher in the Catholic School of Chicago and was a parishioner of St. Mary Help of Christians Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. 

     Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Jennifer (Jeffery) Melancon of Beaumont, TX and Kathleen Aromi of New Orleans, LA; a son, Edward S. (Victoria) Aromi, III, of Westfield, IN; a brother, James Michael Towns of Alburn, CA; grandchildren, Sean Edward Benge, Megan Renee Benge, James Edward Aromi, Hannah Elizabeth Brandner, Abigail Grace Brandner & Matthew Scot Brandner.

     A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, 138 Fairfield St, SE, Aiken, SC 29801 with the Very Rev. Father Richard Wilson as celebrant.

     Final Farewells and Commendation will take place immediately afterwards in the Columbarium of St. Mary Help of Christians Church in the Courtyard of the Churchyard.

     The family will greet visitors after the service in the church social hall.
