Obituary of Angel Salas Itehua

AIKEN, SC – Angel Salas Itehua, age 49, beloved father of 6, passed away July 21st, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Angel was born October 5, 1973, in Astacinga, Veracruz, Mexico to Ramon Salas Tecpile and Regina Itehua Sanchez. Angel had made the Aiken area his home for nearly thirty years. He was a devoted father to his children, and a man who deeply cared about and loved family. To him, family was his number one priority. He was a hard-working man, who was always willing to help others regardless of the situation. Angel was an avid landscaper for many years, and was always passionate and devoted to his work.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his children, Gabriel Salas, Elaina Salas, Nevaeh Patterson, Joseph Salas, Christian Salas, Angel Salas Jr. and Daughter-in-Law Miette Neal-Bellamy; his siblings, Cesilia, Cristina, Vicente, Saul, Epifanio, Clicerio, and Juana; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who love him dearly, and who will miss his presence and smile.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in The George Funeral Chapel.
