Obituary of Robert Lavere Teeter Jr.

Robert LaVere “Bobby” Teeter, Jr., 60, beloved husband of Kelle Kaye Damouth Teeter passed away at Augusta University Hospital on Wednesday evening following a lengthy illness.

Bobby was born on May 18, 1963 in Niles, MI a son of the late Robert LaVere & Alice Virginia Handley Teeter. Bobby was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a proverbial jokester who loved to make anyone laugh. He loved Elvis & Journey. He was an avid member of the "Fighting Irish" pulling for his beloved Notre Dame football team. However, most of all he loved his family and wished he could surround himself with all his family living close to him on his “compound”.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kellse “Yusef” Gallman of Sally; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven Lavere “Charlene” Teeter of Killen, TX & Robert Brannon Teeter of Aiken; a sister and brother-in-law, Robin “Rex” Fergison of Niles, MI; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Corey “April Teeter and Carey “Wanda” Teeter, all of Aiken; grandchildren, Essence, Jamari, Liam, Lizabeth, Ethan, Russell, George &  Caroline.

A Celebration of Life for Bobby will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 11:00am until 2:00p.m at the Couchton Fire Department, 3227 Wagener Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
