Dear Ray and Family, I was very sad to hear of the passing of Jane. We had not seen each other in a very long time. I remember her as a lovely person, as can be seen by the many people who wrote so many wonderful things about her in the Tribute Book. Our relationship goes back many many years as my Mother, Helen Landgrebe Lukemeyer, of Huntingburg, Indiana, was very close to Jane’s father, Harold Landgrebe, who was her cousin. I know that my Mother would want me to send a note of sympathy to Ray and all the family.
May God send His comfort and His care to each of you.
Sincerely, Jeanie Lukemeyer Hill

Jane was a wonderful person and a good friend. She served her family and community very well. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. I will truly miss her as a friend and the good times we shared going to concerts etc.

My heart goes out to the Vaughters family. I babysat Bauer and Claire from 1974-1979 and have many fond memories of those years. Ms. Jane and I had many great talks in the car when she would pick me up and take me home.
Love & Prayers

Ray, Bauer, Claire, Charlie and Clayton,
How I wish Bill and I could be with you today to share our love and admiration for Jane. She was such a loving cousin and friend. Jane made every day special. Though we lived far apart geographically, I felt close to Jane and could pick up where we left off every time we met. She served her family, her city, and many civic organizations so well. I truly miss her.
Bill and I sing a concert this Friday and Saturday. If we were not performing a duet, I would be with you in person. Please understand that we will be thinking of you tomorrow and in days to come.
With condolences,
Bill and Kay

So many memories of a kind and generous friend. Our boys have been best friends for 30+ years. So many weekends spent together at tennis tournaments (Claire and Charlie too). You were dear and loved and will be missed. So sorry for our loss. Rest in peace.
