Mrs. Emma Jane Flatt, 75, of Trenton, widow of Charles Flatt, passed away (at her home on) Tuesday, Februay 24, 2015. Born in Dover, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Edith Bayles Levens. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Brown and a brother, Charles Levens.
Surviving are her children, Terri Bunn (Jensen) of Aiken, Robin Vine (Danny) of Aiken, Edward Flatt (Lisa) of N. Augusta, Valerie Giancola (Donald) of Trenton and Tammy Irwin (Rich) of Budd Lake, NJ; her companion, Steve Davenport of Trenton; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Flatt was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo. Funeral services for Mrs. Flatt, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Dexter Lambert. Pallbearers will be Matthew Schaub, David Giancola, Jeffrey Levens, Deyvi Lopez, Chuck Jones, and Brandon Benward. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
