Mr. Clark was a big part of my childhood because I was best friends with his daughter, Hannah. I have fond memories of spending time with Hannah and her family on their beautiful property back in the day. I remember Mr. Clark to be a kind, gentle man who was supportive of his family and friends. While there are many little moments in time that I'm sure I could recall, one small memory has stuck with me since I was a child. We were having our annual 4-H (or maybe homeschool?) Camp-out on the Clark property, and we were making french toast for breakfast. Mr. Clark came over to me and taught me that cinnamon doesn't dissolve in milk, so I should always mix it with water first to make the best, most flavorful french toast. It's such a small moment, but it is so clear in my mind to this day. Thank you, Mr. Clark, for being a part of my childhood. You will be missed.
