Obituary of Phyllis Mary Bochard

Ms. Phyllis Mary Bochard, 84, of Aiken, SC, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 following an extended illness.

Ms Bochard was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on October 3, 1938, a daughter of the late Nelson L. & Mary (Pabst) Bochard.  Ms. Bochard was a retired elementary teacher from Circleville, Ohio, where she had lived for 55 years. 

She leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Brent & Kimberly (Moats) Gifford of Aiken, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia (Gifford) & Bud Bryant of Wichita, KS; 3 brothers, Nelson Bochard Jr., of California, MO, Delbert Bochard of Chillicothe, OH, & Keith Bochard of Delaware, OH; 5 grandchildren, Laird Bryant, Audra Bryant, Kayla Gifford, Tara (Gifford) Garrett, & Ray Gifford;  3 great-grandchildren, Leo, Lily & Leyton.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Bochard was pre-deceased by a sister, Ruth Bochard Green of New Holland, OH.

Memorial services will take place at a later date in Ohio.
