Graveside services for Mr. Willis Eugene ?Gene? Owens will be held Friday, October 28, 2005 at 2 PM in St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery, New Ellenton SC, with Pastor Brian Gilmer officiating.
Gene, 48, of Aiken, SC, died Tuesday, evening, October 25, 2005 at his home.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC he was a son of the late Murray Willis and Claudette Myrtle Greene Owens. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and had been a cloth handler with Graniteville Company.
The family has asked that memorials in Gene?s memory be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, c/o the building fund, 600 Main St, SW, New Ellenton, SC 29809.
