Obituary of Patsy Fulmer Boyd

Mrs. Patsy Fulmer Boyd, 89, widow of the late W.P. “Pos” Boyd passed away Tuesday Evening, December 27, 2022 at the Place at Pepper Hill  following a lengthy illness.

Born in Saluda County on November 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Mitchell & Daisy Martin Fulmer. Mrs. Boyd retired from Dupont at SRS as the Senior Medical Technologist. She was an avid dancer who loved to Shag especially.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim (Kimball) Pennington of Langley; a sister, Brenda F. (Larry) Clark of Graniteville; 2 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Boyd was pre-deceased by a special friend, Drennon Lowe.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday Morning, December 30, 2022 at 11:00am in the Historic George Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday morning at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649.6234.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, 841 Christian Rd, McCormick, SC 29835.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses, LP’s, and staff of Trinity Hospice for the love and support they have shown Mrs. Boyd over the past several weeks.
