Obituary of Jerome Leonard Fischer

AIKEN, SC – Jerome Leonard Fischer, age 90, died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Mr. Fischer was born March 27, 1932, in Lowell, MA to the late Harry and Reba Fischer. He proudly served his country in the US Army and retired as a Vice President in the Women’s Sportswear Industry. Mr. Fischer had made the Cedar Creek Community of Aiken, SC his home since 1997. He was a member of Adath Yeshurun Congregation in Aiken. He loved football and baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed playing golf, cornhole, and tennis. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, Philip Fischer.

Survivors include his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara K. Fischer; two daughters, Pamela Fischer and Karen Fischer; as well as one granddaughter, Melanie Fischer.

Services will be held at Beth El Cemetery, Cedar Park, Westwood, NJ 07675 under the direction of Bruce Von Arsdale Funeral Home, Somerville, NJ.
