Obituary of Jesse Austin Gentry

   BEECH ISLAND, SC: Jesse Austin Gentry, who will always be lovingly remembered as “Tink”, 39, of Beech Island, passed away August 30, 2022.

 

   Born November 26, 1982 in Port Arthur, Texas, he was the son of Suzanne Elizabeth Jones Moody and the late Jeffrey Lynn Gentry.

 

   Jesse was a sports fanatic and a die-hard Cubs fan.  He loved all sports memorabilia and collected baseball cards. 

 

   He was preceded in death by his father.

 

   Jesse will be lovingly remembered by his mother; his step-father, Mike Moody; his daughter, Sarah Gentry; his sister, Sarah Hunt (Randy) of Castle Rock, CO; his niece, Ava; his brothers, Joshua McDonald, New Ellenton, Cody McDonald, Donald Paul Smith “DP”, and Johnathan Lamb, all of Beech Island; his cousins, Tony Roberts (Sue), Bubba Roberts, Jason Jones, Tricia Gentry and her daughter Emma Rasar, and Scott Gentry Swatosh (Marsha); and his uncle, Frank Jones (Theresa).

   Memorials may be made in Jesse’s memory to The Cornerstone Apostolic Church Recovery Program, 836 Edgefield Rd, Belvedere, SC.

   The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234), has charge of arrangements.
