Obituary of Clanice Bearden Seigler

     Mrs. Clanice Bearden Seigler, 89, widow of the late Gene Max Seigler, gently fell into the sleep of death on Thursday morning, September 1, 2022 and awoke to her new eternal Heavenly Home that she had longed for so long.

     Mrs. Seigler was born on March 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Henry Grady & Lila Gunter Bearden. Mrs. Seigler was a member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Pre-School Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Golden Nuggets. Above all, she was a devoted Christian, a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.

     Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Patty & Frankie Goldman of Aiken; a son and daughter-in-law, Caron Max & Lisa Seigler of Aiken; a brother, Louis Wilton Bearden of Ladson, SC; grandchildren, Mandy McGilvray of Charleston, SC, Heather & Greg Hixson of Columbia, SC and Josh & Blair Seigler of Ct.; 3 great-grandchildren, Larkin McGilvray, Emery McGilvray & Grady Hixson; and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Roland & Melba Seigler of Aiken.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, John Albert Bearden & Henry Grady Bearden.

     Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2:00p.m. in the Historic George Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Louis Wilton Bearden & Rev. Mike Catoe officiating. Interment will follow in Central Baptist Church Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 6:30pm Saturday evening at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649.6234.

     Patty, Caron & the family would like to especially thank the doctors, nurses, CNA’s and staff of NHC Healthcare for the loving care they provided for their mother over the last 2 years.
