AIKEN, SC: James Paul Walton, 70, of Aiken, passed away August 18, 2022 after an extended illness.


Born December 16, 1951 in Calcutta, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifford Walton and Bessie Springer Walton.


Mr. Walton graduated from Beaver Local in Lisbon, Ohio. He worked in the Crucible Steel mill, then entered the medical field and became a orthodic and prosthetic technician until he retired.


He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale, Ronald, and Clifford Walton. Also preceded by his son James P.B. Walton.

He is survived by his daughter VawneRachelle Lee Walton, and grand children; Courtney Dawn Brickner , Mikaila Vawne Marie Walton, Britnie Nicole Boswell, Zachary M. Brickner, Johanna Marie Vaughn; Great grand children include Alysia Skye Higgins, Carter James Meckling, Skylynn James Walton, Cadence, Corbin, Paisley and Greyson; Son in law, Matthew Brickner; Nephew, James Walton; niece, Janet Walton; and many other nieces and nephews.
