Obituary of Carolyn Frances Hendrix

GRANITEVILLE, SC – Carolyn Hendrix, age 92, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022.

Mrs. Hendrix was born in Johnston, SC on April 27, 1930 to the late James and Lucille Johnikin. She was a resident of the area for most of her life. She and her husband owned and operated a sewing business in Graniteville, SC and several real estate rental properties. She enjoyed fishing and the mountains.

Survivors include a grand-daughter, Celeste LaPointe; a great-granddaughter, Oceana LaPointe; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery, Johnston, SC, with Rev. Brian Adkison officiating.
