Funeral services for Mr. Wordlaw Chriss Fulmer, ?Salt of the Earth?, will be held Friday, October 25, 2002 at 3 PM from the graveside in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC. No visitation will be held at the funeral home. Mr. Fulmer, 81, of Columbia, SC, died Tuesday, night, October 22, 2002. Born in Aiken County, SC, a son of the late Levi Tillman Fulmer and the late Lila Bodie Fulmer, he had lived in Aiken, SC, for most of his life prior to relocating to Columbia, SC. A World War II veteran, he proudly served his country in The United States Navy. He was a member Shiloh Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, and was a retired farmer. Sons, Tommy Lee and his wife Joyce, Gilbert, SC, and Carl Fulmer, St. Matthews, SC; daughters, Elayne Fulmer Browder, Columbia, SC and Diane Fulmer Smith, Columbia, SC; brothers, L.T. Fulmer, and his wife, Dessaux, Graniteville, SC, and Paul Fulmer and his wife, Arbutus, Monetta, SC; sisters, Edith Willett, Tarpon Springs, FL, Cleo Peters, Tarpon Springs, FL, Sarah Brown, Macon, GA, and Betty Sargent, De Soto, TX; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, survive Mr. Fulmer. At the request of the family, please make memorials in memory of Mr. Fulmer to the Charity of Choice.
